Login to course web site (Blackboard, https://sbccd.blackboard.com/webapps/login/) several times each week

Become familiar with the course web site (Blackboard, https://sbccd.blackboard.com/webapps/login/)

Read all areas of the course web site (Blackboard, https://sbccd.blackboard.com/webapps/login/) to understand the professors instructions

Read the textbook and any other course resources to understand the course topics

Read the syllabus, print it out and make sure you know where and when work must be submitted.

Start assignments (Discussion Board Posts, Exams, Assignments, and Quizzes) as much as possible before the due date

Submit assignments (Discussion Board Posts, Exams, Assignments, and Quizzes) on time

Know that assignments, quizzes, exams and Discussion Board Posts are considered late based on when they are processed in Blackboard and not the time you submitted the assignments, quizzes, exams and Discussion Board Posts.

Initiate contact (Use the Messages area of Blackboard) with professor for help with course materials

Contact the Student Success Center (PS-134, 909-384-8566) for additional study skills and tutoring help, as needed

Contact the Writing Center (LA-201, 909-384-4464 for additional help, as needed

Ask for technical help (Contact the 24/7 Help Desk, 877-241-1756) for computer assistance immediately, when needed

Can send email, using SBCCD email address; be able to add attachments to email

Have adequate word-processing skills
